Skåran på syfotens undersida gör att stygnen kan passera under foten i alla riktningar. För sidledsmatade sömmar i 4 eller 16 riktningar.

  • Foot #40C is required for sewing out the large (sideways motion) embroidery designs available in models 1630 and 180
  • While the foot resembles the Reverse Pattern Foot #1C, it differs in a few significant ways
  • The indentation on the bottom of the foot is more rounded on the sides to allow the smooth sideways passage of thread and fabric
  • There is no cut-out in the sole of the foot to allow thread passage: this makes for a smoother edge around the stitchinng which allows more even feed of the fabric, especially when moving sideways
  • Note: Foot #40C is for use with Models 1630 and 180 only
